About Carol:
Carol lives in Lodi, CA and works as an Administrative Secretary at Robert Mondavi Winery in Woodbridge CA. She has been with Robert Mondavi now for over 7 years now. Carol truly enjoys her job and the people she works with. You can here her say "Robert Mondavi Woodbridge is the Disneyland of Winery's."

Carol has always loved racing being a spectator but preferred to race. She went to many drag races, even raced her own car when she could. Being a spectator was fun but Carol really wanted to race her own race car but never thought it was affordable. In 1999 Carol heard about an indoor kart track in Stockton "The Inside Track" California. She started going there each week and ended up going at least three times a week to race with her friends. Carol ran many laps each week as running 35minute enduro races and even two hour enduro racing events. After a while Carol ended up with the track record and held it for 9 months. Matter of fact Carol runs the number 5 because that is the kart number she was driving when she got the track record. She never new that karting existed before this indoor kart track. After she found out people actually drove karts as a sport (not just fun karts) she went to a local outdoor track in Dixon, CA. Once she saw that, that was it, she bought a used kart and started racing. Carol couldn't imagine anything more exciting than racing.

What does the future hold?
If Carol has a chance to drive any car, she won't say no. Carol generally averages two to three wins a year. But for Carol's sponsors, they know the people know the products you put behind her. Carol enjoys the people she races with and the competition. Reality is, she has to go to work on Monday's. If Carol could so this for a living, she says she would. Carol has always said she wished she would have known about karting earlier in life. Know matter where she races, she always looks to improve and has a good time doing it. She always asks herself, "How are your going to become a better driver if you don't race people who are better than you?" If you're in the back, then race like you're going to catch the front guy. If you're up front, run like they're going to catch you! RUN and run FAST!

Other Hobbies:
Physical fitness - Works out to stay in shape and also to have better stamina to race. She is always looking for ways to improve her ability to race and stay in shape.

Carol would like to travel more when she has the time. She usually plans a vacation other than racing once a year. Most vacations are planned after race season or around it. Carol always has to check out the local kart track in the area and brings her helmet with her just in case.

Photography - Another passion she has but no longer has time for is photography. Now and then she'll pull out her camera at the track. Her favorite shots are really taken of sunrises and sunsets. Most race tracks do not offer that kind of scenery.
